How do I connect Pixalera to Cursor?

Create a private key in Pixalera Settings → Developers. In Cursor, add a custom MCP connection with your personal Pixalera MCP URL, enable its tools and ask which channels are connected.

Which Cursor plans support this connection?

Custom MCP connector availability depends on your Cursor plan, region and workspace settings. Check the options shown in your account; your administrator may need to enable them.

Do I need a paid Pixalera plan?

Pixalera MCP access requires an active Pro plan. Your normal workspace permissions and limits still apply.

What is the Pixalera MCP?

It is Pixalera's Model Context Protocol server. It makes workspace tools, including channels, posts, ideas and analytics, available to a compatible AI client through a private connection.

Can Cursor publish posts without my approval?

Connecting does not publish anything by itself. Keep tool approval prompts enabled, review the requested action and explicitly approve scheduling or publishing.

Do I need to connect each social account again?

No. The connection works with the social accounts already linked to your Pixalera workspace. Connect or manage those accounts in Pixalera.

Which social platforms can I use?

The connection works with your supported, connected Pixalera channels. The available actions can differ by social platform and account permissions.

Why are Pixalera tools not appearing in Cursor?

Check that custom MCP connections are supported and enabled, your MCP URL contains a valid key and your Pixalera Pro plan is active. Enable the connection in the current conversation and reconnect if you have replaced the key.

How do I disconnect or protect my API key?

Revoke the key in Pixalera Settings → Developers and remove the connection from Cursor. Treat the full URL as a password: never paste it into public chats, screenshots or source code.
